It became one of the most enduring - and in some eyes, controversial - images of the last time Paris Saint-Germain were at Anfield.
Having helped the French side overturn a first-leg deficit and ultimately win on penalties in their Champions League round of 16 second leg 13 months ago, right-back Achraf Hakimi marked the victory by taking a club flag and holding it triumphantly aloft while stood inside the centre circle.
Much to the delight of the travelling Parisian contingent. it was an action viewed dimly by the few Liverpool supporters who remained inside the stadium.
Now, though, the onus will very much be on PSG to defend an advantage in Tuesday's quarter-final return leg having won 2-0 at the Parc des Princes last week.
As Champions League holders, the French side are strong favourites to progress. Hakimi, however, has dismissed suggestions PSG possess a fear factor for all opponents.
"We don't feel superior to everyone, far from it," he said. "The important thing is to enjoy ourselves when we play together. We have the same objectives and goals. We want to win for the club for our team. It's fantastic to be able to celebrate winning.
"This type of a competition, there is no such thing as favourites. We've already seen it is possible for a team to come back even from 2-0 down.
"We are in a very positive mindset having said that. We have a lot of confidence at the moment and I think Tuesday is a really important game for us.
"We are going to be very focused and I think also we are going to have to take care of the details. Every single last detail. We are prepared to give absolutely everything, as are Liverpool. Both teams will be going for it."
Hakimi believes last season's experience at Anfield will hold PSG in good stead for the hostile atmosphere they are likely to face when they step out against Arne Slot's side.
"We know of course there is going to be a wonderful atmosphere," he said. "We know all about that and the Liverpool fans and our fans will be here tomorrow to support us.
"We know what happened last year. That gives us more confidence in ourselves to manage the game.
"Sure we can say this is a key moment in the season. This is the time to give 100% in training and matches, to be focused and really help out our team-mates. We know we can do fantastic things together. We know it is a key moment in the season."
Hakimi and left-back Nuno Mendes were in outstanding form against Liverpool last week, with the Morocco international explaining how the two wide defenders have benefited from the input of PSG boss Luis Enrique.
"When Luis Enrique came to PSG he changed a lot of things in view of the football we play and I play," said Hakimi. "In the past both Nuno Mendes and I were full-backs going up and down the line, now Enrique has shown us a new way.
"It's fantastic to have a manager who has those kind of ideas. I am really pleased with my performance and that of Nuno."
