Florian Wirtz believes his Liverpool struggles are behind him as he insists he is improving since joining the Premier League.
The Germany starlet endured a tough transition period after making his big-money move from Bayer Leverkusen. However, Wirtz is emerging as a key player for the Reds and is in fine form on the back of his impressive international break form for Die Mannschaft, which brought two goals and two assists in a 4-3 win over Switzerland.
The 22-year-old made the switch to the Premier League champions for £116million during the summer and had to remain patient to show his potential at Anfield.
Wirtz has admitted that it was a difficult start with Arne Slot's side, but he believes he is out of the other side and can make the Reds better.

He told TNT Sports: "I know that they paid a lot for me. I still think that I'm improving, it was a difficult start for me because I wanted to impact the team immediately.
"I have to accept it, I'm feeling very good now on a physical level. I'm feeling good in England now because this was a big change for me, now I'm trying to make the team better."
Wirtz will be hoping to make a crucial contribution for Liverpool in their Champions League quarter-final first-leg against Paris Saint-Germain.
The odds are stacked against the six-time holders after a turgid season was compounded with their humiliating 4-0 defeat to Manchester City in the FA Cup.
Disappointment at the Etihad Stadium ended Liverpool's hopes to add domestic silverware to their collection in a campaign where they have failed to successfully defend their Premier League crown.
PSG are reigning holders of the elite European competition and the backdrop of Liverpool's trip is overshadowed by their struggles in the Premier League.
Speaking during the pre-match press conference, the Wirtz says that these are the types of games that he has dreamt about.
He said: "These are the games you want to play as a player and I dreamt of when I came to this club.
"We try everything to do a good game tomorrow and next week also at Anfield. So yeah, these are the games you want to play as a player and for sure come through this round."
