Liverpool begin the March international break with as many as nine injuries after Hugo Ekitike became the latest absentee after sustaining a dead leg during the 2-1 defeat to Brighton & Hove Albion. Alisson and Mohamed Salah missed the match entirely due to muscle injuries.
They join long-term absentees Alexander Isak, Conor Bradley, Giovanni Leoni, Jayden Danns, Stefan Bajcetic and Wataru Endo. Danns recently returned, playing for the under-21s in Premier League 2 on Monday, but lasted less than half an hour before pulling up holding his hamstring.
Bradley, Endo and Leoni are all out for the season, but Alisson, Ekitike, Isak and Salah should return soon. Below is a list of Liverpool's injured players and their potential return dates.
Isak has missed three months after fracturing his left leg while scoring for the Reds against Tottenham Hotspur just before Christmas. The striker is back in training, but has yet to take part in sessions with his teammates.
Potential return date: FA Cup quarter-final versus Manchester City on 4 April
Alisson missed the Brighton match with a muscle injury and said on social media that he will be out of action for a while. The goalkeeper also added that he is "already working hard to be back stronger".

Bradley will not play for Liverpool again this season after having knee surgery. The defender will do well to feature before the end of this year after sustaining bone and ligament damage during the draw with Arsenal in January.

Leoni last played in September after tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament on debut during the League Cup third round tie against Southampton. The young defender should be back in time for the start of next season.

Ekitike came off with a dead leg against Brighton, and Slot confirmed the issue would not sideline the striker. He will therefore join up with France during the international break, so Ekitike should be fit to face Manchester City.
Danns played for the first time since sustaining a serious hamstring injury in late September on Monday. However, he pulled up holding his hamstring 29 minutes, with Rob Page saying afterwards that he "felt something" and that it was "probably precautionary".
Salah did not play against Brighton after asking to come off against Galatasaray with a muscle issue. He will also not represent Egypt, with Slot hoping the forward will heal quickly as he has done before.
Bajcetic has not played since sustaining a hamstring injury at the end of last season while playing on loan for Las Palmas. Slot said in January that the midfielder keeps sustaining setbacks in his recovery, and the player remains out.

Endo is another who will not play again for Liverpool this season. However, he has had surgery and plans to be ready in time for Japan at the World Cup.
