Mohamed Salah has been tipped by bookies to move to Saudi Arabia following the announcement that he will depart Liverpool. The Egyptian confirmed that he will leave this summer on Tuesday evening after a nine-year stint, filled with silverware.
It has since emerged that he has agreed to leave Liverpool on a free transfer. As such, the Reds won't receive a fee for the player in the summer, but will offload his weekly wages of approximately £400k.
Speculation is already rife about where Salah might be plying his trade next season. His agent, Ramy Abbas, has revealed that no move has been arranged.
In a social media post, he stated: "We do not know where Mohamed will play next season. This also means that no one else knows."
Salah has previously been strongly linked with a transfer to Saudi Arabia, and was the subject of a £105million bid from Al Ittihad in 2023. Liverpool rejected the offer, with Salah staying at the club and aiding them in securing the Premier League title in 2025.
According to BetFair, a transfer to any Saudi Pro League team is the most probable move, following the recent update, with odds of 13/10. A switch to America with any MLS team is the second favourite at 15/8.
However, bookies also reckon he could remain in Europe, with some of the continent's top clubs included in the odds. Here's a look at the latest odds from Betfair:
Any Saudi Pro League team - 13/10
Paris Saint-Germain - 17/2
