Liverpool FC will join Liverpool's Pride march this weekend, celebrating inclusion, equality and diversity alongside the city's LGBT+ community.
Taking place on Saturday (July 25), the march will see LFC colleagues, supporters, Official Liverpool Supporters Clubs, fan groups and commercial partner colleague networks come together to take part in one of the city's biggest celebrations of Pride.
As an official sponsor of Liverpool Pride, the club will join thousands of people from across the city for the annual march.
This year marks 14 years since LFC became the first Premier League club to take part in a Pride march. As part of Red Together, the club's commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion, a programme of activities has once again brought together colleagues, supporters and local communities throughout the summer.
Earlier this month, LFC Foundation hosted its annual Pride football tournament, welcoming teams from a number of local leagues for a day of football, connection and community. Young People's Advisory Service (YPAS) also attended the event to highlight the services available to young people across the city.
The Foundation will also be part of Saturday's celebrations, hosting a dedicated stand at Liverpool Pride where supporters can find out more about its programmes and community work.
The club's annual Pride badge competition has once again highlighted the creativity of young people connected to LFC Foundation. This year's winning design was created by Foundation programmes participant Grace, who was selected from 364 entries by the club's LGBT+ employee network. The badge will be worn and shared throughout the weekend's events.
Supporters can also mark Pride through the club's retail collection, available online and in official LFC stores, featuring a range of Pride clothing and accessories. A percentage of proceeds from the collection is donated to local LGBT+ charities, with the club contributing £20,000 to LGBT+ causes through the initiative to date.
