Joe Gomez was missing for Liverpool as they prepared for Wednesday's Champions League showdown against Galatasaray.
The Reds take on the Turkish side in their round of 16 second leg at Anfield looking to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first game in Istanbul last week.
Gomez featured at right-back at Rams Park before switching to centre-back for the disappointing 1-1 Premier League draw at home to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
But the defender was the main new absentee for Arne Slot's men during their open training session at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday afternoon.
There were otherwise no surprises among the senior Liverpool players being put through their paces in front of the media at Kirkby, with Ibrahima Konate the most obvious replacement for Gomez should the England international not be available.
Alexander Isak was spotted training away from the first team while following an individual training programme on a back pitch as he continues his rehabilitation from the broken leg that has sidelined him since before Christmas.
Liverpool's squad was bolstered by Academy youngsters Lucas Pitt, Kareem Ahmed and Joe Bradshaw given Amara Nallo and Kieran Morrison, likely to be on the bench against Galatasaray, had started on Monday night for the under-21s in their Premier League defeat at Manchester City.
